1. WHEN WILL NORTH WIND CHURCH OFFICIALLY LAUNCH? North Wind is scheduled to officially launch in fall 2013. Before the official launch, we will be conducting monthly community gatherings as we work to establish our launch team and connect people to the vision and values of the church. In addition to monthly community gatherings, small group prayer and Bible study groups called "circle gatherings" will be happening in the homes of various leaders. Begining in January, 2013 we will conduct live streaming meetings via our U-Stream channel. To view a schedule of community gatherings, circle gatherings and live-stream events click HERE. 
2. WHERE WILL NORTH WIND BE LOCATED? We are targeting the north Cincinnati area. As we are in the early stages of the launch process, we have yet to secure a regular location. That said, we have identified an area we are looking to secure meeting facilities. We are looking in the 747 corridor. It is an area that borders multiple counties and cities. We ask that you help us pray that God guides us to the exact physical building we need that will provide opportunity for growth and expansion. If you know of any space that might be available in that general area please contact us! We appreciate any help you can give. 3. WHAT WILL A SERVICE LOOK AND FEEL LIKE IF I ATTEND? Our service are designed to reach everyone, no matter what their background is. Our goal and aim, as stated in THE CODE is to create an atmosphere that makes it easy to connect in worship and hear/receive the message given. Church should not be boring. We like to have a good time celebrating our creator.
4. WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT THE FIRST TIME? If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or beg you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
5. IS THERE A CERTAIN WAY I SHOULD DRESS? You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because NWC is not about what you look like or what you wear.
6. WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS? Kids represent the future church. We don't just acknowledge this, we purpose to make it our mission to develop the next generation. From Nursery to High School, we strive to leave no one out. Our nurseries are safe, clean and well staffed by qualified people who embrace it as a calling and honor. The same goes for kids classes. Students (12-18) are embraced as a vital part of North Wind. We plan meeting times designed especially for them. We want parents to feel safe leaving their kids in our care. We require references and a thorough background check on each and every volunteer and staff member who encounter kids.
7. ARE THERE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULT DISCIPLESHIP AND GROWTH? Discipleship and training are what we are about. North Wind will never be content as a Sunday morning only church. More than a desire, it is a mandate that we make disciples. Multiple venues are available to connect with training and growth. Classes throughout the week as well as small groups and online video chat training groups will be offered. If you want to grow in your faith, you are in the right place!
8. I DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD, AM I STILL WELCOME? Without a doubt! We do expect you are coming with a willing and open mind to hear the message and explore your questions concerning God.
9. HOW CAN I CONNECT AND MEET MORE PEOPLE? The best way to connect at NWC is to get involved. It's a fact, people who serve together will connect and grow together. You can find out all the great ways to serve by attending CIRCLE 1. It is an introduction event that allows people to meet the leaders at NWC and discover the vision and passion of the church. It's a great venue to meet people and find out ways you can connect.
10. HOW ARE YOU FUNDING THIS CHURCH PLANT? We are currently in the process of raising the funds needed to plant the church. It's people just like you who will make this dream reality. 12. ARE YOU CONNECTED TO A DENOMINATION? North Wind Church is recognized by the state of Ohio as a non-profit, incorporated organization and by the federal government as a 501c3 non-profit institution. We are a part of the Church of God, Cleveland, TN for the purposes of covering and fellowship and currently hold "mission church status".
