The Code is North Winds identity… It is what defines and guides us. If we are going to do anything then "it" must line up with "The Code". The Code also serves as an accountability point. Our leadership constantly reviews the ministry and actions of the church to insure they align and accomplish our vision and mission, as well as, fulfill the ideas and beliefs stated here. We believe whole-heartedly in each of these statements. There aren't many things we will battle over, but these declarations, in our opinion, are untouchable and what defines us as a unique and forward-moving church.

We are Spirit-filled Christ-followers who expect the miraculous and live to see God make impossible possible!

Our inspiration, peace and power come from God’s Spirit. We know he still has the same miraculous ability to create that was on full display when He created the universe!

We celebrate the Church as God’s hands and feet on planet earth!

The local church is the hope of the world and we take our individual parts seriously. We all represent different parts of one body and strive to be unified. We totally expect to see people saved, delivered, Spirit-filled and commissioned.

We give up things we love for things we love even more.

It’s never about what we want. We love Christ more than anything so what he wants and desires is more important than anything!

We reject labels and designations that lead to a “less than” mentality.

People come in different sizes, shapes and colors. We celebrate those individual characteristics and strive to see each person through God’s unprejudiced eyes. People who choose to hang out with us should never feel the need to hide behind a mask. The ground at the foot of the cross is level.

We will do anything short of sin to reach people who don’t know Christ.

To reach people no one is reaching, we’ll have to do things no one is doing.

To us, atmosphere is more than just the envelope of gases surrounding our planet... It’s a masterpiece of art we are constantly preparing for God.

Atmosphere sets the mood. People in todays hands on, multisensory society expect an atmosphere of excellence. We feel the same way. We strive to create an atmosphere that draws people in, opens their eyes to the awesomeness of God and delivers a response of worship. It’s not just people who respond to these conditions. God himself is stirred in conditions like these. We get a little crazy about this, but we will settle on nothing but an atmosphere of excellence and expectancy when preparing to host the King of kings. “An atmosphere of expectancy is the breeding ground for miracles”.
As methods change and new tools and resources are available, we will embrace them as they fit into the ultimate plan of creating an atmosphere that reaches people and glorifies God. At the same time, we will never compromise message to accommodate methods no matter how shiny or bright it might be.

We will pioneer the concept of irrational generosity.

Giving, not getting... that’s where it’s at. We know that the blessings we receive are determined by the .

We will love, celebrate, eat, worship, mourn, laugh and grow together!

Nothing is more fun and fulfilling than serving God with people you love! We will always strive at being a modern model of the church found in the book of Acts. To be effective as a “living body” people must always be growing, improving and reproducing. Healthy growth only happens in a healthy atmosphere.

We know that accountability + Passion = Excellence.

If we want the best God has for us, then our passion to obtain it must be covered in accountability. Operating in excellence honors God and inspires people

We are spiritual contributors not spiritual consumers.

The church does not exist for us. We are the church and we exist for the world. Everything we do at NorthWind is for the glory of God and the benefit of people. Our commitment is to create an environment that is spiritually contagious. We know we are successful when people are continually moving from spectator to participant.

We will honor Christ and His church with integrity.

If we live with integrity, nothing else matters. If we don’t live with integrity, nothing else matters.
